Easter Activities in Newquay

If you are lucky enough to find yourself in Newquay over the Easter holidays, you are in for a treat! We have compiled together a list of exciting local actives that will make your holiday even more special. From egg hunts to pony rides, there is something special for everyone to enjoy. Here are some of the highlights:



Explore the stunning Trenance Valley with their Easter Trail! From the cute cottages to the lush gardens, past the zoo to the awesome skatepark and back down towards Heron Centre and Set Cafe. Clue sheets can be picked up from Either Visit Newquay Information Centre or Trenance cottages and be exchanged for an Easter treat on completion!


They have also hidden golden rocks throughout Newquay which can be exchanged for a chocolate Easter egg if you are lucky enough to find one.




Travel down the Easter Trail and discover exciting nature-inspired activities for the whole family!


Running from Saturday, April 1st to Sunday, April 16th 2023, and bounce around the stunning garden and house at Trerice.

The cost of the trail is just £3 per child which includes a trail map, pencil, and chocolate egg at the end. Don't let this hair raising adventure pass you by!




Running daily from 10am to 5pm there will be an Easter Quiz with a prize for anyone who solves the puzzle, story time in the Haybarn, opportunities to get close with some of the animals including bottle feeding, Pat a Pet sessions, and Bugzone. There will be additional activities including pony and tractor rides. April 1st-16th.




April 8th and 9th: "NQY's Biggest Easter Egg Hunt"


Get ready for a massively egg-citing Easter egg hunt like no other at NQY Sports Centre set to be even bigger and better than last year!

Your little ones will receive an Easter basket and map to follow the trail, hunting high and low for eggs!

With super sneaky hiding spots, hundreds of eggs to fund, and a special appearance from the Easter bunny, this is going to be the most exciting Easter day out in Newquay yet!


Tickets are only £7 per child and include an Easter basket and full access to egg-splore the Easter trail.




RNLI Charity Easter Egg Hunt, April 9th.

The Boathouse in Newquay Harbour is hosting the first ever Newquay RNLI Lifeboats Easter Egg Hunt. Children of all ages can search for clues hidden around the harbour, solve the puzzle, and receive a sweet surprise from the RNLI shop. Adults may also be in for a surprise, and can relax with a free pint of Offshore, or glass of Sea Change Wine, at the The Boathouse - Street Food on the Beach. The hunt is free for everyone and runs from 10am to 3pm.



With a range of venues, from beaches to parks and local attractions, hosting fun-filled activities, visiting Newquay is a delightful way to spend the Easter Holiday, creating lasting memories for years to come!
