Keep busy in Newquay

Surfing

Coasteering

Coasteering is the ultimate ocean wilderness adventure sport, encompassing movement along the seashore of a rocky coastline on foot or by swimming. Newquay’s rugged Atlantic Coast is one of the leading Coasteering destinations in the UK  and Coasteering is one of the UK’s  fastest growing extreme adventure sports. Lusty Glaze and Fistral Beach offer coasteering activities however there are companies all over Newquay and the south west providing this amazing experience. Grab some mates, don your wetsuits and explore the coast in a new way, an adventure that will push your limits and let you see a whole new side of Newquay. Instructors will lead you to hidden spots, perfect for cliff jumping and sea kayaking.

Explore the peaceful Estuary at high tide, or for the more daring, get out behind the surf and see the beaches of Newquay how few others get to experience it. With tours running down the length of the bay and around the main headlands, explore the coastline without getting stuck in traffic!
There are multiple companies in and around Newquay that are equipped to take you on a kayaking adventure or offer hire for half or whole days.

Go Karting

If there are no waves or you fancy a different form of adrenaline rush, why not put the pedal to the metal and see who is the speediest of the bunch? St. Eval Kart Racing Circuit is a massive outdoor 1.3km track which is designed to cater for 7 years olds and above, and for all group sizes. It is the UK's biggest children's kart circuit, and the Southwest's largest and fastest adult kart circuit, making it perfect for all the family. They'll not only kit you out, but also fully referee and time all laps, to make sure only the true winner is victorious!

Mini Golf

For those who have the skills, there is a mini golf course in Trenance Park that is suitable for the whole family.
Show off any talent you’ve got, or not as the case may be, but laughs are guaranteed. Newquay has a couple of courses to prove your skills on, why not try them all? Trenance Park is ideal for the whole family, with the zoo and park only a stone’s throw away or why not check out Gilmores crazy golf, and keep refreshed with a gin cocktail and Mexican meal – maybe the loser can buy?

Cinema

For those days when the weather isn't quite doing what you’d like it to, Newquay’s cinema is perfect for a wet afternoon’s entertainment. Showing all the big blockbusters, you can catch up with all the films as well as often local comedians and more varied shows.
